I often use drawing as a “way in” to my day in the studio. It helps to cancel out all the other noisy thoughts and domestic demands. Some of the drawings featured here are non dominant hand exercises - a way of making the drawing process harder so that I focus on looking and making marks more carefully. Others are ink drawings from the “Inktober” exercise - a small ink drawing every day during the month of October.
